Lucille Rosales had been doing acting ever since she was a child. She’s constantly trained by her aunties in every monologue performances that she is preparing for. She spent her highschool days as a feature and poetry writer with Ripples Magazine in Cordova Catholic Cooperative School.
During her freshmen years in Cebu Normal University, she was part of the Center Stage Dance Company led by Mr. Reynante Villegas. She became part of performances that involved the Cebuano Culture.
By the following year, she was awarded as the First Runner- up on CNU’s yearly English Month’s Declamation Competition with “Blonde and Blue Eyes.” In this year also, she started to be involved in Film Making with her first short film “PROSTI” as an entry to CNU’s CineU Film Festival. She also created the short film “ATIS” which was her second short film.
In her junior years, she was the overall Director of Foot Forward Ads’ Grand Fashion Show launched at Cebu Normal University during it’s Advertising week. Following the success of the event was her achievement as Best Speaker and Best Interpolator in the “Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters ng Pilipinas” yearly Debate Competition.
She later became part of the “Telebisyong Bisaya Productions” as an acting coach to aspiring performers and actors.
Later this month she produced, wrote and directed the films “Akong Kalipay” and “Ang Dinapit” for the CINEU 6th Film Festival. She was nominated as Best Director, Best Editor, Best Cinematographer and Best Picture or Best Film for “Ang Dinapit”. She is now part of The Ministry of Music and Performing Arts Academy as an Acting Coach.
